Dear PAL Champion:

For more than 14 years, the Pinellas Sheriff’s Police Athletic League (PAL) has provided a safe
place for children in the Lealman area – one of the toughest, most underserved communities in
Pinellas County. PAL is a beacon of hope for families where at-risk children can thrive through
academic support, mentoring, and youth sports programs. None of this would be possible without the collaboration and support of our community partners.

There are so many exciting things happening at PAL for our kids and our staff. Most notably, we
have hired a new executive director, Randi Meyer, who comes to us with more than 25 years of
experience in human services, youth services, and youth education non-profits. Randi has the
skillset that PAL needs to move the organization forward and has retained an exceptional team to support her efforts.

I hope you can join us on Thursday, November 9, 2023 for our 10th Annual PAL Breakfast at the
Hilton Carillon starting at 7:30 a.m. In celebration of a decade of bringing the community together to support PAL, this year’s theme is “Breakfast of Champions” because without those of you who are our champions, we simply would not be able to make the impact we make every day in our most vulnerable community.

The PAL team has developed some exciting new sponsorship opportunities for this year’s
