Sheriff Jim Coats (Retired)
We’d like to give a special thank you to Sheriff Coats, whose vision and leadership helped lay the foundation for Pinellas PAL. Elected Sheriff in 2003, he recognized the urgent need for a program that could support youth facing challenging home environments and created a partnership that still impacts our community today. Even in retirement, Sheriff Coats remains one of our most dedicated supporters, continuing to invest in our mission and the success of the kids we serve year after year.

PAL Seniors

We are proud to highlight the bright futures our senior students, set to graduate this spring, are building as they take their next steps beyond our program. Ke’niah has been accepted to Beacon College on a full basketball scholarship. Ke’fari is working toward a career in social and human services, with the goal of becoming a social worker. Yamarie is following her interest in dentistry and plans to attend SPC to become a dental hygienist. Jeilam is preparing to enter the real estate field after high school, and Dangel is pursuing his passion for streaming video games and hopes to grow as a YouTuber. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and excited to see all they accomplish.
