This winter break, our PAL kids experienced something truly special, and it would not have been possible without the incredible support of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Thanks to their generosity and commitment to youth in our community, both Little PAL and Big PAL participants were able to enjoy unforgettable field trips that brought joy, connection, and lifelong memories during their time off from school.

Little PAL Takes on LEGOLAND

Over winter break, our Little PAL participants spent an exciting day at LEGOLAND Florida, exploring the park in small groups to make the most of every moment. From rides and attractions to discovering new areas of the park, the kids had an absolute blast.

For many of our younger participants, this was their first time visiting a theme park and an experience filled with wide smiles, laughter, and pure excitement. Being able to explore, play, and simply enjoy being kids made this trip incredibly meaningful.

Big PAL Heads to Universal Orlando

Not to be outdone, our Big PAL participants headed to Universal Orlando for another unforgettable adventure. From thrilling rides to shared laughs, the day was packed with excitement and bonding moments that our teens will be talking about for a long time.

Trips like these offer more than just fun; they provide opportunities for our teens to build relationships, gain confidence, and experience something new outside of their daily routines.

More Than a Field Trip

These winter break outings are about more than rides and attractions. They are about giving our kids opportunities they may not otherwise have, showing them that their community believes in them, and creating positive experiences that support their growth and well-being.

Because of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, our kids were able to enjoy a safe, enriching, and joy-filled winter break, one that truly reflects the heart of PAL.
